Cylindrical Type Ball Splines

The outer diameter of the spline cylinder is straight cylinder type,which is used after the key is punched in when transmitting torque,and is one of the types with the smallest installation space.

SLT Series Ball Spline

SLT series ball spline has large load capacity,high rigidity and high sensitivity,which can reduce energy waste,and SLT spline cylinder is straight cylinder type,very compact,suitable for tight space requirements.

SOT Series Ball Spline

SOT Spline nut is with a straight cylindrical shape without flange.The standard mode of mounting a cylindrical nut is by using a key.The spline shaft is combined with the splined outer cylinder and can be zero clearance by adjusting the prepressing mode.

Precautions of Using Cylindrical Nut Ball Splines

When using a cylindrical nut ball spline,there are several precautions that should be taken to ensure safe and efficient operation:

(1)Proper Installation:Ensure that the spline is installed correctly according to the manufacturer's instructions. This includes proper alignment and torqueing of the fasteners.

(2)Lubrication:Regularly lubricate the spline to reduce friction and wear. Use the recommended lubricant specified by the manufacturer.

(3)Avoid Overloading:Do not exceed the maximum load capacity of the spline. Overloading can cause premature wear and failure.

(4)Regular Inspection:Periodically inspect the spline for any signs of damage,such as cracks or excessive wear. Replace any worn or damaged parts immediately.

(5)Avoid Contamination:Keep the spline clean and free from dirt, dust, and other contaminants. Contamination can cause increased friction and wear.

(6)Proper Handling:When handling the spline, avoid dropping or mishandling it. This can cause damage to the internal components and affect the spline's performance.

(7)Temperature Considerations:Be aware of the temperature range in which the spline is designed to operate. Excessive heat or cold can affect its performance and lifespan.

(8)Avoid Misalignment:Ensure that the spline is properly aligned with the mating components. Misalignment can cause increased friction and wear.
