Trapezoidal lead screw striking feature:
All ALM Trapezoidal screws have lead angles of 5° or less making them self-locking. Trapezoidal lead screws will not backdrive under most conditions. So you no need consider brakes or other holding devices to sustain loads for trapezoidal screws. All other screws except Acme series require some braking,that is to say,to prevent backdriving.
