ALM KK8605 linear module is driven by a ball screw while a guideway slides on anoptimized U-rail to achieve higher accuracy and greater stiffness.Using finite element analysis on the U-shaped cross section allows the volume and rigidity to be made balanced. Therefore, a high rigidity rail, compact design and a light weight design are also accomplished simultaneously.
