The accuracy grades for ball screws are commonly denoted by a number, such as C0,C1,C3,C5,C7,C10,etc.The lower the number,the higher the accuracy.
(1)C0: This represents the highest accuracy grade,also known as "precision grade." It has the least amount of axial play or backlash,providing the highest level of precision and repeatability. The accuracy value for C0 is typically within 0.0035 mm per 300 mm of screw length.
(2)C1: This grade is slightly less accurate than C0 but still offers high precision.The accuracy value for C1 is typically 0.005 mm per 300 mm of screw length.
(3)C3: This grade is commonly used in general industrial applications. It provides moderate precision and is less expensive compared to C0 and C1. The accuracy value for C3 is typically 0.008 mm per 300 mm of screw length.
(4)C5: This grade is suitable for applications where precision is not critical, and cost is a more significant consideration. The accuracy value for C5 is typically 0.018 mm per 300 mm of screw length.
(5)C7: This grade is often used in applications where precision is not essential, and there are higher loads or speeds involved. The accuracy value for C7 is typically within 0.05 mm per 300 mm of screw length.
(6)C10: This grade represents the lowest accuracy level and is commonly used in applications where precision is not critical, and cost is a significant factor. The accuracy value for C10 is typically 0.21 mm per 300 mm of screw length.
