The daily maintenance and servicing of the linear module is crucial for ensuring its operational accuracy, extending its service life, and reducing malfunctions. The maintenance work mainly focuses on four core aspects: "cleaning, lubrication, inspection, and adjustment". The specific maintenance plan is as follows:

1. Regular Cleaning (Dust Prevention and Decontamination)

1.1. Surface and Guide Rail/Screw Rod Cleaning: Regularly wipe the module surface, guide rails, and screw rods with a dust-free cloth to remove dust, oil, and debris. Avoid using wet cloths to prevent moisture from entering and causing rust on the guide rails; if the environment is dusty, regularly clean the accumulated dust inside the dust cover.

1.2. Photocell Cleaning: Regularly clean the dust in the sensing area of the photocell to prevent accumulated dust from causing sensing failure.

1.3. Cleaning Agent Usage: Only use dust-free cloths or soft bristle brushes. Do not use cleaning agents containing acids or alkalis to avoid corrosion of the module surface.

2. Regular Lubrication (Reduce Wear and Rust Prevention)

2.1. Lubrication Cycle: In normal environments, it is recommended to lubricate once a month (for high-frequency and dusty/humid environments, it is recommended to do so every two weeks). The first maintenance should be conducted after the equipment has been running for 2 months. Adjustments should be made according to actual working conditions.

2.2. Lubrication Locations and Methods:

Guide Rails/Sliders: After cleaning the old oil stains, apply the dedicated guide rail lubricant (such as dust-free room-specific lubricant) or grease on the surface of the guide rails and the grooves of the sliders. After applying the grease, slide the slider back and forth to ensure the grease is evenly distributed.

Roller Screw: After cleaning the old oil stains, apply the dedicated grease on the surface of the screw and the grooves of the nut. When applying the grease, rotate the screw appropriately to ensure that the rollers fully absorb the grease.

2.3. Lubrication Considerations: The amount of grease added should be moderate to avoid excessive accumulation leading to dust clumping; it must use the dedicated lubricant for the module to avoid using ordinary engine oil.

3. Regular Inspection (Tightening and Condition Monitoring)

3.1. Mechanical Structure Inspection: Regularly check if the screws (guide rails, sliders, motor base, coupling, etc.) are loose. If found loose, tighten them according to the standard torque as soon as possible to prevent accuracy degradation or abnormal noise due to loosening.

3.2. Operating Condition Inspection: Before starting the equipment, check if the operation is smooth, listen for any abnormal noise or vibration, and observe if the running trajectory is stable. If any abnormalities are found, stop the machine immediately for troubleshooting.

3.3. Electrical and Sensor Inspection: Check if the motor terminal connections are loose, and check if the surface of the photocell and optical encoder is clean to prevent positioning errors due to contamination.

4. Adjustment and Replacement (Precision Maintenance and Wear Part Maintenance)

4.1. Precision Adjustment: Regularly test the repeatability positioning accuracy of the module. If the accuracy decreases, calibrate the parallelism of the guide rails or adjust the clearance of the screw rod.

4.2. Wear Part Replacement: Regularly inspect the guide rails, sliders, dust-proof steel belts, belts, etc., and replace them if they are excessively worn, deformed, elongated, or damaged to avoid affecting the overall operation.

4.3. Environmental Maintenance: When the equipment is idle for a long time, clean it thoroughly and apply anti-rust oil. Regularly power on and run it to dehumidify, maintaining the equipment in an appropriate temperature range (0-40°C) and humidity range (35-85%RH). Note: Before maintenance, be sure to cut off the power supply to ensure safety.
