1.Linear guide splicing method
Linear guides are usually spliced by screws and joints. Common splicing methods include tenon splicing, butt splicing, plane splicing and so on.
2.Linear guide stitching accuracy
The stitching accuracy of linear guide rail refers to the error range between the two ends when connecting two guides. According to international standards, the stitching accuracy of linear guide is divided into three levels, and its error range is as follows:
(1)First-level allowable error: When connecting two sections of guide rail, the maximum allowable error range is 0.04mm/m.
(2)Secondary allowable error: When connecting two sections of guide rail, the maximum allowable error range is 0.06mm/m.
(3)Three-level allowable error: When connecting two sections of guide rail, the maximum allowable error range is 0.10mm/m.
3.How to ensure the stitching accuracy
To ensure the stitching accuracy of the linear guide, the following methods can be used:
(1)When connecting two sections of guide rail, use tools such as positioning pins and stripes to ensure that the position and height of the two sections of guide rail are consistent.
(2)Before splicing, clean the surface to ensure that there is no interference from impurities.
(3)Use appropriate screws and torque wrenches, splicing according to the installation instructions provided by the manufacturer to avoid too loose or too tight phenomenon.
Through the above method, the linear guide can achieve higher accuracy requirements in actual use,and improve the precision and quality of machining.
